Tue. 1-10-12 Apocalypse Now

Today I'm watching a classic film, Apocalypse Now. It is a vietnam era film starring Marlon Brando, Michael Sheen, and Robert Duvall. Released in 1979 with the War fresh in the country's memories. This film features a young Michael Sheen who is a captain in the infantry who is called upon to terminate An insane Colonel Kurtz.

Now while watching this movie I find a strange coincidence were a young Sheen is patrolling the jungles of Vietnam and is also narrating the film. Sound familiar it's repeated again years later in Oliver Stones Platoon with a young Charle Sheen who is in Vietnam and is also narrating. This is a great film that I recommend you watch it is long but the story is worth your time! It is a Coppola film so you know that the quality is going to be that of a classic!
